Cabbage and Roses. . .

When Spring time arrives my thoughts often go to Cabbage and Roses. . .soon the garden will be bursting with beautiful blooming roses and the cabbage heads will begin to form.

Until then I will suffice with indoor cabbage and roses.  When I was putting away my Easter décor I realized that I had overlooked my wonderful cabbage pitcher and bowl.  It was a birthday gift from a dear friend years ago.

I created a little table behind our love seat with some of the wonderful things that will soon be gracing my garden.

My bunny hopping among the veggies was a definite yes for this vignette.  As were my cabbage S&P shakers.

When I saw this little plate at a thrift store I knew I had to have it.  It’s a motto I truly live by.

There’s no place I’d rather be than in the garden!
